Explaining the basics of the religious philosophical worldview of evolution.
I’ve had numerous complaints (aka whining) about my definitions. It is childish that evolutionists will resort to these attacks to try to make their religion look good. I’m going to list some definitions and sources for them, ALL OF THESE DESCRIBE EVOLUTION:
“a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe”
-Random House Dictionary, © Random House, Inc. 2010
(see also Dictionary.com)
“A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion”
-American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition
Copyright © 2009 by Houghton Mifflin Company
“a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith”
-See ‘religion’, #4, Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, 2011, merriam-webster.com, retrieved June 17, 2011, http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/religion
Evolution, clearly by definition, is a religion. If you don’t like it… tough. Be an adult and learn to deal with reality. It’s sad that I have to do research for the evolutionists on little things like this because they won’t do it themselves, and then they lie to others claiming that I’m ignorant on the topic. They’re real brave sitting behind their computer screens.
