Active Judgment of God Today?

Calvary’s ramifications help us to understand whether or not God is judging us for sin that is committed today. Is God sending small bits of judgment your way everytime you sin? Or does the Apostle Paul take a different position on the judgment of God in light of Calvary? When we think it through by understanding what God accomplished for us by the work of Christ, we see that God’s hand in judgment is dormant today but His word is active.
